Jostain syystä minulta on mennyt aiemmin tämä upea cover-versio täysin ohi. Olen rakastanut  originaalia Skeeter Davisin The End of the World -kappaletta siitä asti, kun kuulin sen Girl, Interrupted -elokuvassa. Sharon Van Ettenin raukea ja vuotoinen ääni sopii kappaleeseen saumattomasti, rakastan!

Somehow I’ve completely missed this stunning cover version of Skeeter Davis’s song ”The End of the World” by Sharon Van Etten. I’ve loved the original song ever since I heard it in the movie ”Girl, Interrupted”. Sharon’s languid and breathy voice fits absolutely perfectly to the song, I love it!
