Vapun jälkeen kesän odotus käy niin armottomaksi, että heikoimpia hirvittää. Samalla festarikuume rikkoo elohopeaennätyksiä, eikä mutaa, korvatulppia ja turvonneita jalkoja malttaisi odottaa – ne kun kaikki kielivät siitä, että päivää on vietetty ranneke ranteessa sielua kutkuttavien biisien tahdissa huojuen.

Oma kesäfiilistelyni kulminoituu juuri nyt Qstockiin, jonka kattaus tänä vuonna osuu mukavasti makuhermooni. Lisää sitten lähempänä ajankohtaa, mutta nyt tiistain kunniaksi Lissietä, joka niinikään nousee lauteille Oulussa heinäkuun lopussa. Heron soidessa voin jo kuvitella itseni Lappiin, patikoimaan paljakoille antaen Jäämereltä hyökyvän tuulen viilentää keskiyön auringon polttamia poskipäitä.
