The Walking Deadin ja Game of Thronesin fanit eivät ole voineet välttyä loistavalta Jamie N Commonsilta. Kuulin herran musiikkia ensimmäisen kerran joskus muinoin Walking Deadissa ja selvitin oitis kuka oli kappaleen (Lead Me Home) takana. Kerrottakoon, että tällä brittiherralla on vuosia mittarissa vasta 27, mitä ei raspikurkun äänestä voisi i-ki-nä päätellä.

Jos pidät sellaisista kuin Mark Lanegan, The Black Keys ja Tom Waits pidät varmasti myös Jamie N Commonsista. En pysty kuuntelemaan tällaista blues rockia/folkia ilman välitöntä mielleyhtymää tv-sarjoihin True Blood, True Detective  ja American Horror Story. Ja se on vain hyvä juttu. Alla kuunneltavissa kaksi herran uusinta kappaletta. Jos olet näiden jälkeen edelleen täysin hievahtamatta paikallasi  sinussa on varmaan jotain vikaa.

I first heard Jamie N Commons in The Walking Dead a couple of years ago and that song (Lead Me Home) captivated me so that I instantly had to find out who sang it. An interesting fact is that this British guy is only 27 years old which is imcomprehensible when listening to his raspy and gritty baritone. If you like Mark Lanegan, The Black Keys and Tom Waits you’ll surely like Jamie N Commons as well. I can’t listen to this kind of blues rock/folk without an immediate association with True Blood, True Detective  and American Horror Story. And it’s a very good thing.  Above are two of the most resent songs by Jamie N Commons. If you’re still totally immobile after you’ve heard them there must be something wrong with you.
